I want to create a web page that will have anywhere from one to 4 four columns per page. These article columns will be inside a div container that will be centered. I do not want my articles to flow or move around and I will be placing images in the articles as well.

How do I do this? The tutorials I find always have the second column float and move around. I do not want any liquidity.

I want to make my own default layout-that has 2 tables-a background-no white area-the background fills the whole layout-not to much css codes cause i am not too good with them-if anyone can make a stylesheet for me or give me the guide lines please answer the question-if you know anyone else that can help me please tell me. thanks.& no i dont not want a regular default layout they are so ugly-

I have a drop down selector box in a form.
I`ve used the ‘selected = “selected”‘ html statement to tell the browser which option to display first up.

However.

After a selection is made, I`d like the selection box to be re-displayed with the new user selection highlighted.

PHP echo html entities does this for input fields and text boxes.

How can I do this with a drop down selector box?
