How do I add Css text in overflow property?

Hello.my.name.is.weird asked:

Okay, I try to add a code in the div overflow property like this:

Css Code here

But all that happens is the Css text code is applied to the scrollbar overflow! I don’t get it! What am I supposed to do?

Which Overflow property are you trying to use?

Blah blah
^ the overflow:hidden property will make sure that if whatever you place between the div tags is too big, it will simply get ‘clipped’ off, without showing scroll bars.
