Speedsters (including Flashes) usually restrict themselves to around the speed of sound, give or take.
You can’t go near lightspeed without running the risk of being sucked into the Speed Force – Wally’s the only one to survive a lightspeed run because the love he had for Linda served as an “anchor”, so to speak.
yes, you’re right. The thing with jay is that he can’t maintain that speed for long. my mistake. In I.C, he did go lightspeed, but he had to drop out faster than wally and bart.
well in 1 story line its the same green lantern he turns blak that in the justice league he just changes collor wen he grows i know dats weird cause it shows in a episode and in superman its that green lantern then he dies den it turns into the black green lantern i dono if dat made sense lol…
Actually he can. With the Speedforce, Jay Garrick could travel almost at the speed of light. What happened was that when Bart Allen absorbed all the speedforce into him (after exiting it to stop Superboy Prime once more) no other speedsters could access it leaving Jay with only his metagene for speed. But after Bart died and Wally returned, the speedforce was returned to the speedsters and he can run close to light speeds again, even able to keep up with zoom.

This is stupid. I miss the arrogant, silly, wise-cracking Flash in the Justice League.
Probably would have said something like, “you’ve been iced”, or “bombs away!” XD

I just happen to like the Flash. That’s why I’m so excited that Barry Allen is back in the DCU comics.

Depends on what altitude. At sea level is is about 770 mph. At higher altitudes it is less.
