Why does my website hang when I place an Ad on my website using google Adsense?

To answer your question I’ve not noticed that hang, but it may be where you place it, as I have had trouble with it changingg existing paragraphs markers and such like underlining words that were not before and changin fonts. I’ve tried to put it in the middle and on the side of pages and it can block your other content and produce some other effect in your html, so it looks different and I’ve had to remove it, this may be a contributing factor to your hangs. It may be the simple solution but now I always place it at the top or bottom only outside of all the other tags except for main page and body ones
